Having trouble writing a Windows USB install disk lmao.

Firstly the MS site wouldn’t let me download the iso in the first place. Easy fix, just switch to a different exit node in tailscale. For whatever reason MS dislikes my home IP it was fine with a server elsewhere.

Now I can’t write the disk for the life of me. The only option that’s even presented a bootable disk was dd’ing the iso to the disk… but it never booted, just chucked me back into the bios.

I’ve been in IT like 20 years at this point lmao.. in fairness I’ve not used Windows for 18 of them, but still. What on earth am I doing wrong? Haha
